Children's Education
Back to Church Ministries Page
Sunday School is for children from newborns to 9th grade each Sunday at 9:15am
(September through May). It begins with a large group opening in Room 221. We use a "Rotation" Sunday school model that allows our
students to learn through story, song, crafts, games and other activities for Kindergarten through fifth grade. Preschoolers
participate in a more traditional classroom model, and zero to two-year olds have an informal "class" with their parents,
including a story time, playtime and time for the parents to socialize. To register, contact Brenda
Goble (brendag@midvalelutheran.org).
Vacation Bible School is for all ages, children and adults. It begins the second Monday of each August, and
goes from 5:30-6:00 meal, 6:00-8:00 program - Monday through Friday. The time includes a
family meal, a dramatic opening presentation, Bible study, crafts, games, and singing. During the Bible
study time, there is an adult Bible study led by the pastors as well as age-specific studies for the
children.
To register, contact Brenda Goble (brendag@midvalelutheran.org).

First Communion Instruction is offered periodically. It is especially targeted to children in the third to
