Prayers for Israel and Palestine

We join our prayers and voices with all who seek to offer comfort and solace in the midst of horrific events in Israel and Gaza in the last week. We mourn with our Israeli and Palestinian siblings as they grieve the loss of loved ones and remain fearful of continued violence. Our commitment is to a future in which both Israelis and Palestinians can live in peace, with security and human rights protected for all. The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America is one of 24 churches that has shared this letter to members of congress in the hopes of bringing forth peace and justice.
