Recurring Automatic Donations
Recurring Automatic Deductions from your checking or savings account provide a reliable source of income for our ministries. Your donations are deducted directly from your checking or savings account at a frequency and amount you select. If you would like to begin recurring automatic giving, please fill out the AUTHORIZATION FORM FOR AUTOMATIC WITHDRAWAL and return the form to the church office. IRA Qualified Charitable Distributions
Donors over 70-½ can make Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from an Individual Retirement Account (IRA). Donating from an IRA, given directly to Midvale Community Lutheran Church, may reduce your taxable income while satisfying your Required Minimum Distribution. Gifts of Appreciated Securities (Stocks and Bonds)
There are significant benefits to making non-cash gifts of appreciated securities. Donors may be able to decrease their tax liabilities by contributing stocks, bonds, or mutual funds that have experienced capital gains. Contact the business manager, Amanda Mueller, at bookkeeper@midvaleutheran.org or 608-238-7119 for information about gifting appreciated assets. You should also contact your financial advisor or attorney to make sure this type of gift will work for you.
