Confirmation
Registration is now open for the 2023-24 school year!
Our confirmation ministry is intended for middle school-age youth and is designed as a program that helps young people learn about their Christian faith, grow in relationships with one another, and have opportunities for fun and service. Confirmation begins in 7th grade for those who are interested in affirming their baptism.
Confirmation meets on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings from Sunday, September 10, 2023, through Sunday, May 19, 2024.
On Wednesday evenings, there is a choice of two class times (content is the same for both): 5:30-6:15 p.m. or 7:00-7:45 p.m.
Sunday mornings at 9:15 am-10:15 am
Confirmation Mentors are adult members of the congregation who are invited by an 8th grade student to serve as their mentor for one year. Mentors and students meet regularly throughout the year.
The Rite of Confirmation is typically held in the fall for those in their 9th grade year.
